Aspect Media is headed up by Jacob Gibbins, who brings 20 years of experience in action sports media as a rider, filmmaker and photographer.

Starting out on the international World Cup mountain bike race circuit, Jacob built his career documenting the sport’s biggest athletes, events and moments. His photography has featured on the covers of numerous cycling publications, including many years as a credited staff photographer for Dirt Magazine.

As his career evolved, so did the work, moving from editorial photography and race coverage into commercial filmmaking, cinematography and documentary production.

Today, Jacob’s work has taken him around the world reaching millions of viewers in the process. From major events such as Darkfest to projects including Deathgrip, Between the Races to shorter films like Olly Wilkins’ Not Bored Yet and Rider Resilience. His experience spans the full spectrum of action sports storytelling.

Along the way, he’s worked with some of the world’s leading brands and athletes, building a reputation for delivering compelling imagery and productions in even the most demanding environments.

We have a trusted black book of talented creatives across every corner of the industry and a carefully curated arsenal of production equipment, we assemble the perfect crew and tools for every project, whatever its scale or complexity.

Our roots in action sports give us an understanding that goes beyond simply pointing a camera at the subject. We know the environments, the people and the culture. That knowledge allows us to work naturally with athletes, brands and creative teams, delivering authentic content efficiently and cost-effectively. Time and time again.
